Determining the appropriate washing frequency requires considering the work environment, the season, and the fabric characteristics. Specific guidelines are as follows:

Based on Work Environment
High-contamination/High-risk environments: (e.g., chemical processing, pharmaceutical cleanrooms, workshops with heavy oil/grease). Workwear used in cleanrooms should be washed daily; sterile suits must be washed and sterilized immediately after use; and workwear exposed to highly corrosive substances requires cleaning and decontamination after every use.
Standard production environments: (e.g., general workshops, outdoor operations). In summer, when sweating is profuse, wash at least once a week; in winter, when sweating Low-contamination/Office-support environments: Workwear exposed only occasionally to minor dust can be washed once every two weeks to avoid fabric wear caused by excessive washing.

Based on Special Materials
Functional workwear (e.g., anti-static, acid-resistant): Washing once a week is recommended. Avoid frequent washing that could damage the protective layer, but do not neglect washing for long periods, as residual contaminants can compromise protective performance.
Rainwear and canvas workwear: Wash promptly if visibly soiled. For routine use, wash once every 1–2 weeks; limit soaking time to no more than 15 minutes to prevent fabric degradation.
